I'm wondering if I need to comment on World War Two, the television series, not the event. First, I don't have convenient access to PBS, not since my satellite service denied this area distant networks. Another attempt to get a group up to South Tahoe for lunch and skating. Elaine showed up for lunch but didn't skate. Otherwise it was just two of us. Next stop for skating will probably be Squaw Valley in August.

Not much happening. I need to transfer my tomatoes to bigger pots today. It would almost be safe to plant them in the ground, but I won't take that risk. I'll wait another four to six weeks.

This weekend was to be the last for the rink to be open, but it's been extended another four weeks. Looks like the weather is shaping up to turn into the false spring typical of February here. I just hope it warms up overninight.

The gourmet hike will probably be in the same area as Jamison Lake, from the other side, next week, if it's the same as last year, but I had to go back today. There were at least a half dozen more cars in the parking lot as last week, but I was alone at Jamison Lake, for a little bit. I had to transplant the tomatoes (and other plants) last night. They're too big for the pots, even after I transferred them to bigger pots a few weeks ago. The problem with my garden is I have to navigate around fence posts and giant boulders in the ground. Some day I have to fix those obstacles, but that would involve disrupting the neighbors.
